Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or related field.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English for safety sensitive activities per FAA requirements.
• Minimum 8 years related experience, including at least five years in a project management and supervisory capacity.
• Integrated technical and operations management experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills; ability to interpret plans and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage all activities of aircraft maintenance and repair operations on a customer program, including hangar and line maintenance.
• Liaise directly with customers and project supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction while controlling costs.
• Ensure all maintenance complies with FAA regulations and customer requirements.
• Manage budget items including hours, EBITDA, and materials.
• Lead program team and escalate issues to Director of Maintenance when needed.
• Prepare customer requirement plans and status reports reflecting aircraft status.
• Coordinate with management across functions to share information and resolve problems.
• Interview, hire, and train department personnel; manage PTO and promotions as needed.
• Document and investigate all accidents per SMS policy; perform other duties as assigned.
