Job summary

Flightstar Aircraft Services is seeking an experienced Lead Aircraft Interior Technician to direct a crew in performing interior maintenance in accordance with customer specifications and FAA standards. The role includes mentoring junior technicians through on-the-job training and ensuring timely, safe completion of all tasks.

The ideal candidate has five years of experience in aircraft interior work, a current FAA Airframe license or documented path to an FAA repairman or A&P license, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of experience in aircraft interior maintenance.
• Knowledge of ATA Codes and aircraft zones.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals.
• FAA Part 91/121/145 familiarity preferred.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the crew to perform interior maintenance per FAA and customer specs.
• Ensure proper parts tagging and materials documentation.
• Verify availability of FAA approved data and parts.
• Train junior technicians via on-the-job instruction.
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and timeliness of work.
• Interface with customer reps to obtain approvals for work estimates.
• Read and follow safety standards and company policies.
• Operate AMROS ERP and locate/request parts.
