Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking a qualified Interior Installation Lead to oversee daily interior work on our aircraft at the Kinston facility. You will supervise technicians, ensure proper training records, and coordinate with other departments to deliver high‑quality interiors on both company and client aircraft.

The role requires deep knowledge of interior systems, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

High School diploma or Equivalent.
Good driving record.
Airframe certification by the FAA.
Must have shadowed toolbox and tool inventory list.
Minimum 10 years' experience in removal and install of aircraft interiors or demonstrated knowledge to perform all tasks.
Authorized to work in the United States with two forms of ID.
Safety-Sensitive role under FAA regulations with pre-employment and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

Oversee interior installation on company and customer aircraft at Kinston daily.
Lead technicians and manage hours and progress updates.
Ensure training records for interior personnel; identify additional training needs.
Coordinate with other departments and provide customer support.
Provide daily technical direction to technicians on assignments.
Maintain hangar and shop in clean and orderly condition.
Ensure adherence to FAA FARs and OSHA regulations.
Mentor new technicians and assist with safety compliance.
