Job summary

Collins Aerospace Interiors Services & Specialty Products in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Senior Level Project Engineering Professional to lead designs for commercial seating and interiors. You will manage small to mid-scale projects, coordinating with program management, procurement and certification teams to deliver world-class seating products.

You will drive design reviews, create prototypes, and author service documents while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years’ experience or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Familiarity with FAA processes (TSO, STC, PMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global design resources during project execution.
• Present 3D/2D design data and mock-ups to customers in reviews.
• Record schedule impacts and propose countermeasures for milestones.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities to maximize profitability.
• Build prototypes and author service documents (SBs, SLs, NTOs).
