Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Fort Worth seeks a Project Engineer II to coordinate all technical activities on assigned aerospace projects. You will plan, schedule, and supervise engineering work ensuring compliance with FAA/EASA regulations and RECARO standards, while collaborating with design, certification, and production teams.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering with 2–7 years of related experience, strong interiors design exposure, CATIA V5 proficiency,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering; 2–7 years experience.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience in Aircraft interiors design.
• Knowledge of aircraft documentation systems (CMM, SB) and configuration control.
• Minimum 2 years CATIA V5 or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and certification of aircraft seats with design, engineering, and certification teams.
• Plan, schedule and track engineering tasks; provide detailed reports to Program and Engineering Management.
• Translate customer requirements to the team and ensure expectations are met.
• Coordinate design meetings and changes with customers.
• Support Purchasing and Production by providing BOMs and documentation.
• Periodically write Service Bulletins and coordinate approvals with airworthiness authorities.
• Engage with overseas engineers and program management to discuss manufacturing issues and potential seat innovations.
• Verify materials usage per seat requirements using appropriate knowledge.
• Monitor capacity planning and tracking for engineering tasks on projects.
