RTX Interiors Services & Specialty Products seeks a Principal level Project Engineering professional to lead mid-to-large scale aircraft seating projects. You will coordinate design resources, mentor teams, and work with program management, procurement, and certification to deliver world-class seating solutions.

The role requires a STEM or advanced degree with 5–8+ years of relevant experience, plus proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Advanced degree with 5+ years of相关 experience may substitute for the STEM degree.
• U.S. Person status required for ITAR/EAR access.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary point of contact for design information and coordinate resources during project execution.
• Provide guidance to the design team and suggest solutions for customer upgrades.
• Represent engineering in customer design reviews, both in-person and virtual.
• Document delays and scope changes, and propose countermeasures to recover schedules.
• Pursue cost-saving opportunities to maximize profitability of the project.
• Create new designs and modify existing ones to meet customer requirements while complying with safety standards.
• Lead design reviews with Engineering Management and the Chief Engineer.
• Oversee prototype seat build for meetings, tests, or certification.
