Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Shalimar, FL is seeking an Aircraft Inspector V to provide expert oversight for all inspection activities and ensure safety and compliance. This role focuses on leading inspection processes and mentoring inspectors on complex issues, with deployment required to OCONUS locations.

The position requires an FAA A&P with IA designation, PC-12 experience, and the ability to work extended hours, including 12-hour shifts, six days a week as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Active FAA A&P certification.
• IA designation required.
• PC-12 experience is mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft, systems, and parts.
• DoD/CC restriction deployment requirements.
• Able to deploy 90 days to OCONUS locations.
• Pre-deployment medical clearance required.
• Lead/mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert oversight for all inspection activities.
• Act as SME for complex compliance issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for inspection processes.
• Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of inspections.
• Mentor and train inspectors at all levels.
• Develop and maintain advanced inspection protocols.
