Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Systems Focal for Large Combat Engines (LCE) to lead technical execution and program coordination for ADEC/EMSC Refresh on F110-129 and F110-100 engines. The role partners across engineering, controls, program leadership, and stakeholders to drive milestones from development through production in a fast-paced defense environment.

This position requires a Bachelor's in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, 6+ years of engineering experience, U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience (MIL-HDBK-516C methods).
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to engineering programs for LCE.
• Serve as the systems engineering focal for ADEC/EMSC Refresh on F110-129 and F110-100 engines.
• Partner with Controls leadership to meet cost, schedule and execution objectives.
• Manage system requirements, specifications and flow-downs.
• Lead system-level validation and verification activities including testing.
• Define product requirements for modules and subcontractors.
• Manage interfaces across components and teams for integrated solutions.
• Drive risk trade studies across design teams.
• Own product configuration and change control processes.
• Provide pragmatic solutions and process improvements across engineering and manufacturing.
