Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding seeks a Senior Sales Business Development Executive – Air Freight to expand our customer base across JFK and New Jersey territory. You will build long-term relationships, craft end-to-end logistics solutions, and drive revenue growth through consultative selling.

Responsibilities include hunting new business, expanding existing accounts, and collaborating with Product teams and operations to deliver value. A hands-on, globally oriented salesperson will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years field sales in freight forwarding (air freight preferred).
• 5+ years sales experience (international logistics preferred).
• Experience with logistics processes, systems and solutions.
• Solid PC and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of international air and ocean freight.

Responsibilities

• Win, retain and develop medium-sized business customers through proactive sales activity.
• Maximize growth by developing new sales, product marketing, and customer support strategies.
• Build rapport with customers and coordinate with Product, Trade Lane Managers, and other sales channels.
• Collect customer information for RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and ensure proper handover to operations.
• Manage the full sales process and update CRM daily.
