Job summary

AMD is seeking a Lead System Validation Engineer - AI Rack Validation to drive validation for next‑gen AI/server platforms. You will lead system-level, rack-level, and cluster-scale validation initiatives, developing scalable validation strategies and automation to ensure high-quality product delivery.

The role requires deep experience in OS/firmware/silicon and hardware validation, with strong collaboration across architecture, IP design, SoC, FW, SW, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience debugging OS, firmware, silicon, and hardware.
• Knowledge of PCIe and CXL bus architectures.
• Strong understanding of X86, SoC design, and platform debug.
• Ability to lead validation programs and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level, rack-level, and cluster-scale validation strategy for AI and server platforms.
• Define and drive validation plans across scale-up and scale-out environments.
• Develop validation methodologies spanning CPU, GPU, memory, BIOS, BMC, networking, OS, and infra components.
• Collaborate with architecture, hardware, firmware, software, and platform engineering teams to define requirements and gaps.
• Lead investigation and root cause analysis of complex hardware/software issues.
• Drive automation, telemetry workflows, and data-driven validation approaches.
• Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
