Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the AI Experiences team to define how millions of travelers interact with AI throughout their shopping journey. You will transform evolving AI capabilities into intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy experiences, partnering with product, engineering, data science, and content design to shape scalable, accessible solutions at global scale.

This hands-on role suits someone comfortable with ambiguity, emergent technology, and driving

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years in product or UX design; portfolio of shipped products.
Strong interaction and visual design foundations; UX writing or IA a plus.
Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and data teams.
Understanding of communicating AI confidence, uncertainty, and limitations.
Ability to simplify ambiguity and explain design rationale.
Proficiency with Figma and contributing to design systems.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design of AI-powered shopping experiences.
Translate AI capabilities into intuitive, transparent experiences.
Design across conversational, visual, and multimodal interfaces.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Content Designers.
Prototype and iterate with real AI outputs and evolving technologies.
Leverage research and analytics to refine experiences and influence roadmap priorities.
