Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape AI-powered travel experiences for millions of travelers. You will transform evolving AI capabilities into intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy interfaces across conversational and visual experiences at global scale.

The role involves ambiguity, collaboration with PMs, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and content designers, and building scalable design systems while championing accessibility and responsible AI design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or related discipline.
• A portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products and strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and customer-centered problem solving.
• Expertise in at least one core design discipline (interaction or visual design) with strength across prototyping, research, facilitation, information architecture, content strategy, or UX writing.
• Experience designing complex product experiences in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of how AI-powered experiences should communicate confidence, uncertainty, recommendations, limitations, and failure states.
• Proficiency with Figma and experience contributing to shared design systems and scalable component libraries.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of AI-powered shopping experiences from framing to launch and iteration.
• Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, transparent experiences to help travelers make confident decisions.
• Design across conversational, visual, and multimodal interfaces to meet diverse decision-making styles.
