Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer to define how AI-powered travel experiences are designed at global scale. You will transform evolving AI capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy experiences that feel human and useful, shaping a traveler’s shopping journey.

You will collaborate with PMs, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Content Designers, working across AI-driven opportunities to improve the traveler experience while managing ambiguity and aligning with product goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or related discipline.
• A portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products and a strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and customer-centered problem solving.
• Expertise in at least one core design discipline and strength across prototyping, research, facilitation, information architecture, content strategy, or UX writing.
• Experience designing complex product experiences in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of how AI-powered experiences should communicate confidence, uncertainty, recommendations, limitations, and failure states.
• Ability to simplify ambiguity and articulate design rationale to audiences from engineers to senior leaders.
• Proficiency with Figma and contributing to shared design systems and scalable component libraries.

• Design end-to-end AI-powered shopping experiences across conversational, visual, and multimodal interfaces.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Content Designers to shape AI experiences.
• Prototype, experiment, and iterate using tangible design artifacts to accelerate learning.
• Elevate design quality by contributing to patterns, frameworks, and design systems.
