Expedia Group’s AI Experiences team is shaping the next generation of travel shopping. You will define how millions of travelers interact with AI, transforming evolving capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy experiences at global scale.

This hands-on Senior Product Designer role focuses on ambiguity, emerging technologies, and driving design quality across travel experiences powered by AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in product/design roles with shipped digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped products and problem-solving in design.
• Expertise in at least one core design discipline with strengths in others.
• Experience designing complex product experiences with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding AI-powered experiences and how to communicate confidence and limitations.
• Ability to articulate design rationale to engineers and leaders.
• Proficiency with Figma and contribution to shared design systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of AI-powered shopping experiences from framing to launch.
• Translate AI capabilities into intuitive, transparent experiences.
• Design across conversational, visual, and multimodal interfaces to support diverse decision styles.
• Collaborate with PMs, Engineers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Content Designers.
• Balance traveler needs with business and technical constraints while navigating AI limitations.
• Create prototypes and design artifacts to accelerate learning and decision-making.
• Iterate based on research, analytics, and customer feedback to shape roadmap.
