Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape AI-powered travel experiences across conversational, visual, and multimodal interfaces. You will own end-to-end design from framing opportunities to launch, translating complex AI capabilities into intuitive experiences that travelers understand and trust.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Content Design teams, prototype with real AI outputs, and contribute to design systems to scale high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or related discipline.
• A portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products and strong foundation in interaction, visual design, and customer-centered problem solving.
• Expertise in at least one core design discipline (interaction or visual) with strength across prototyping, research, IA, content strategy, or UX writing.
• Experience designing complex product experiences with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of how AI-powered experiences should communicate confidence, uncertainty, recommendations, limitations, and failure states.
• Ability to simplify ambiguity and articulate design rationale to engineers and senior leaders.
• Proficiency with Figma and contributing to shared design systems and scalable components.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, transparent experiences for travelers.

• Prototype, learn, and iterate using AI outputs and evolving technologies to drive improvements.
• Elevate design quality by contributing to patterns, frameworks, and reusable components.
