Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced software architect for a high-scale HR platform. You will lead the design and development of critical features, mentor engineers, and drive best practices across teams. The role focuses on AI-powered solutions and seamless integrations with multiple HR systems on AWS.

You will collaborate with SDMs/PMs to align architecture with 3-year plans and ensure reliable, scalable services, while mentoring SDE-IIs and collaborating with Principal Engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and development of scalable platform features.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish coding standards and best practices.
• Architect and implement AI-powered solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Design and build robust integration patterns between HR systems with security/compliance.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
