Job summary

SimSpace, an AI-driven cyber range platform, seeks a Senior AI-Centric Threat Hunter to join our remote team in the European Union. You will lead projects, mentor teams, and implement AI agent techniques to advance threat hunting capabilities across global clients.

You will design experiments, integrate agentic tools, and deliver hands-on training using open-source and commercial security tools, shaping next-gen defenses for enterprise networks.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in AI/ML engineering, including practical application with AI agents and LLM APIs.
• Deep understanding of AI agents, orchestrating decision loops, tool access frameworks, and memory systems for threat hunting.
• 6+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Offensive Security/Red Team, or Cyber Threat Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal initiative to research and integrate candidate agentic capabilities into test environments.
• Consult customers on identifying, integrating and testing capabilities prior to deployment.
• Keep up with industry evolution around AI and cybersecurity operations.
• Mentor global clients on threat hunting tactics and strategy for our clients and international organizations.
• Establish parsing rules, dashboards, and tuning of enterprise security tools in our cyber range platform.
• Develop toolsets and scenarios within a cybersecurity range to model real-world defense scenarios.
• Navigate across a geographically dispersed organization to drive results.
• Support assessment of customer security teams and events (travel up to 25-30%).
