Job summary

SimSpace is hiring a Senior AI-Centric Threat Hunter to join our Evaluation Team. You will lead research to integrate agentic capabilities into test environments and advise customers on how to test and deploy them in real networks.

You will mentor blue team exercises, use AI/ML tooling and open source frameworks, and collaborate across a geographically dispersed organization. Travel may be 25–30% to support global clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, detection engineering or cyber threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in AI/ML with practical experimentation using AI agents and LLM APIs.
• Experience architecting RAG pipelines to ground LLMs in internal threat data and policies.
• Strong Python and data science library skills (Pandas, Numpy).
• Familiarity with open-source AI ecosystems and local LLM frameworks.
• Experience with host, network, and application telemetry for kill chain analysis.
• Ability to communicate risk to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal initiative to research and integrate candidate agentic capabilities into test environments.
• Serve as a consultant to customers on identifying, integrating and testing capabilities prior to deployment.
• Keep up with AI and cybersecurity operations industry evolution through publications and standards.
• Mentor advanced threat hunting tactics and strategy for global clients and international orgs.
• Utilize Blue Team experience to establish parsing rules, dashboards, and tuning of security tools.
• Develop toolsets and scenarios within a cybersecurity range to model real-world defense.
• Build consensus across the organization to drive results and lead projects.
• Navigate a geographically dispersed team and support customer events (travel 25-30%).
