SimSpace is seeking a Senior AI-Centric Threat Hunter to join our Evaluation Team. You will shape AI-driven cybersecurity workflows, design experiments for AI agents, and deliver training to customers.

You’ll lead blue team exercises and demonstrate hands-on use of open source and commercial security tools to defend networks against advanced threats. The role emphasizes breaking new ground in agentic cybersecurity, collaborating across time zones, and mentoring colleagues while traveling up to

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in AI/ML engineering, including practical application with AI agents and LLM APIs.
• Deep understanding of AI agents, orchestration loops, tool access frameworks and memory systems for threat hunting.
• Hands-on experience designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for grounding LLMs in threat intel and policies.
• Advanced Python and data-science libraries; strong scripting for data manipulation (Pandas, Numpy).
• Familiarity with open-source AI ecosystems (Hugging Face) and local LLM frameworks (Ollama, vLLM).
• 6+ years in Security Operations, Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Offensive Security/Red Team, or Cyber Threat Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal initiatives to research and integrate agentic capabilities into test environments.
• Advise customers on integrating agentic capabilities into cybersecurity enterprises before deployment.
• Stay current with AI and cybersecurity operations trends; review publications and standards.
• Mentor on threat hunting tactics and advance blue team capabilities for global clients.
• Tune enterprise security tools and dashboards within our cyber range platform to meet client goals.
• Develop toolsets and realistic scenarios within a cybersecurity range to model real-world defense.
