Latitude AI is seeking a senior software engineer to architect and implement scalable AI software for autonomous driving. You will collaborate with ML, robotics, and systems teams to integrate algorithms and optimize performance on embedded platforms.

The role requires strong expertise in Python, PyTorch, ONNX, and modern C++, with a track record of delivering production-quality code and driving projects end-to-end in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in GPU/DSP architecture and heterogeneous embedded computing.
• Fluency in Python, PyTorch, ONNX, numpy, pandas.
• Fluency in modern C++, data structures and parallel programming.
• Strong understanding of an AI deployment flow on an embedded platform.
• Industry experience writing production-quality, performance-critical code.
• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills.
• Curiosity for new domains and an R&D mindset.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement software solutions that scale from lab to customer for large-scale robotics projects.
• Collaborate with teams to understand, integrate, and optimize their algorithms and models.
• Profile and optimize efficiency from PyTorch to C++, balancing requirements with compute constraints.
• Develop infrastructure and tools to evaluate and optimize AI performance.
• Drive projects end-to-end with CI, automated testing, and code reviews in a fast-paced, autonomous environment with a strong safety culture.
