Job summary

Thomson Reuters seeks a Lead Product AI Solutions Specialist to drive the development and implementation of innovative AI-powered legal research tools. You will apply subject matter expertise to content creation and evaluation of generative AI product functionality.

Responsibilities include leading AI system development, data set maintenance, prompt engineering, and mentorship. The role offers hybrid work and a path toward strategic AI impact across Thomson Reuters’ legal solutions portfolio.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Bar admission in at least one jurisdiction (may be required for some roles).
2–5 years experience in a law firm or in-house setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Applies legal subject matter expertise to drive AI research and product development.
Works with product and technology to define and develop AI systems.
Leads creation and maintenance of gold data sets.
Implements, reviews and monitors automated testing outputs and processes.
Creates, evaluates and maintains advanced customer-facing content for AI systems.
Inputs into advanced customer use case development and legal process analysis.
Participates in prompt development and fine-tuning.
Provides strategic feedback to engineers and data scientists on AI output quality and accuracy.
Engages with customers and contributes to product development.
Drafts training and guidance materials, carries out project onboarding and mentors others.
