Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead AI Solutions Specialist to drive development and implementation of AI-powered legal research tools, leveraging subject matter expertise to shape content and evaluate generative AI product functionality.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with product and engineering, create gold data sets, test automation, and mentor others while engaging customers to influence product direction.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in at least one jurisdiction (may be required for some roles).
• 2–5 years experience in law firm or in-house setting strongly preferred.
• Experience using online legal research tools (CoCounsel, Westlaw, Practical Law).
• Advanced knowledge of fundamental AI concepts and their application in professional contexts.
• Experience applying analytical thinking to AI evaluation schemes and benchmarks.
• Ability to create, test, and refine user queries and prompts for LLMs.
• Exceptional analytical thinking with ability to dissect complex problems and formulate data-driven solutions.

Responsabilités

• Applies legal subject matter expertise to drive AI research and product development.
• Works with product and technology to define and develop AI systems.
• Leads creation and maintenance of gold data sets.
• Implements, reviews and monitors automated testing outputs and processes.
• Creates, evaluates and maintains advanced customer-facing content for AI systems.
• Inputs into advanced customer use case development and legal process analysis.
• Participates in prompt development and fine-tuning.
• Provides strategic feedback to engineers and data scientists on AI output quality and accuracy.
• Engages with customers and contributes to product development.
• Drafts training and guidance materials, carries out project onboarding and mentors others.
