Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to solve complex customer problems and close large deals. You will work with sales and channel partners to understand needs, strategize sales cycles, and deliver compelling value-based demonstrations.

In this role you’ll design and implement proofs of concept, communicate Snowflake’s value, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to continually improve offerings. Expect ~30% travel and a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years in industry with at least 5 years in a pre‑sales role.
• Outstanding presenting skills to technical and executive audiences.
• 5+ years building ML and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Broad experience with DB/Data Warehouse, ETL, analytics and cloud tech (Data Lake/Data Mesh/Data Fabric).
• Hands-on with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• Ability to map business problems to Snowflake solutions.
• University degree in CS/Engineering/Math; masters preferred.
• Experience with GSIs is a plus.
• Travel ~30% expected.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
• Demonstrate value through demos, PoCs, and designs across the sales cycle.
• Stay current on competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
