Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond seeks an experienced AI Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and govern enterprise AI/ML platforms. You will build GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI solutions on AWS Bedrock, automate with Terraform, and deploy via GitLab CI/CD.

You will also develop React-based admin interfaces and APIs to support AI automation within a secure, enterprise IT stack. You will work in a collaborative environment focused on reliability, security, and public service, with mentorship for

Qualifications

• Progressive experience building GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions including prompt engineering and orchestration frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and related AI/ML services.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Bash for automation, scripting, and API development.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS, Systems Manager).
• CI/CD and deployment automation using GitLab pipelines.
• Proficiency in React for internal tools and admin interfaces.
• Strong Git workflows and collaboration practices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Architect GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions across AWS Cloud environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for AI workflows and automation using GitLab.
• Resolve complex AI infrastructure and reliability issues and perform system health reviews.
• Develop UI tools with React and build APIs to support AI automation and orchestration.
• Lead and mentor engineers within Agile teams on AI tooling and Terraform usage.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and security practices across AI platforms.
