Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions, leveraging GenAI, RAG, and agent orchestration frameworks. You willTerraform-based infrastructure, AWS services, and modern automation to support critical financial systems.

You will collaborate across platforms, implement secure and scalable AI pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to technical strategy and governance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in AI/ML engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field.
• Certifications related to IT or AI/ML are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GenAI, RAG, and agent orchestration solutions in production.
• Develop AI/ML pipelines and infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
• Build and maintain front-end tools using React for internal AI workflows.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and automate deployments.
