Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond seeks an experienced AI Solutions Engineer to design and deliver enterprise AI/ML platforms. You will architect GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI pipelines across AWS, Terraform, and automation tools, ensuring secure, scalable solutions that support critical financial systems.

You will develop interfaces and APIs with React, implement CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers while collaborating across teams to drive impactful AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience building GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and related AI/ML services.
• Strong programming in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infra provisioning and state management.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation using GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Design AI/ML architectures and implement GenAI, RAG, and agentic pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure across AWS environments.
• Build React-based front ends and internal tools for AI operations.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab for AI deployments.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization in AI solutions.
