Job summary

Front is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in Chicago to partner with Account Executives, lead technical discovery, and design AI-powered, integrated solutions for enterprise customers. You will demonstrate Front’s capabilities through tailored proofs of concept and live demos, bridging technical depth with business impact.

You will articulate value to both technical and C‑level stakeholders, guide pilots, and help shape product roadmaps with customer insights while thriving in a hybrid office

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Solutions Eng, Sales Eng, or similar enterprise SaaS role.
• Proven success partnering with sales to win complex enterprise deals.
• Strong experience designing/demoing AI, automation, and complex workflows.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI-powered products and PoCs.
• Ability to explain AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong foundation in APIs, webhooks, data flows, integrations, and modern SaaS architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs; familiarity with JavaScript/Python a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to own the technical strategy for complex enterprise deals.
• Lead technical discovery covering objectives, architecture, workflows, integrations, and security.
• Translate requirements into solutions using Front’s AI, APIs, integrations, and automation.
• Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to customer use cases and outcomes.
• Position Front’s AI capabilities clearly to technical and executive audiences; discuss value and tradeoffs.
• Lead hands-on AI proofs of concept and technical evaluations with clear success criteria.
• Serve as technical lead for pilots, managing dependencies and troubleshooting to ensure success.
• Develop deep expertise in Front’s APIs and extensibility platform for integrations.
