Job summary

Deloitte's AI & Engineering team in the United States is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to design, build, and scale AI-enabled platforms and modernize data and software estates. You will drive architecture for generative AI, AWS Bedrock, and enterprise applications, guiding cross-functional teams and delivering measurable business outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application architecture, or solution architecture
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, projects, or workstreams for enterprise technology implementations
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS, including Bedrock, Lambda, SageMaker, API Gateway, or container-based services
• Experience architecting generative AI solutions using LLMs, prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and enterprise integration patterns
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and engineering efforts for client engagements involving generative AI, AWS cloud services, data platforms, and modernization
• Translate requirements into scalable architecture designs, reference patterns, roadmaps, and delivery plans
• Guide engineering teams through Bedrock integration, Claude implementation, API strategy, security controls, and production deployment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and quality throughout delivery
• Drive engineering-led innovation to modernize platforms and accelerate digital product outcomes
