Job summary

Deloitte Consulting seeks an experienced Manager and Technical Architect to deliver high-quality work products and mentor teams across on-site and off-shore groups. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and drive end-to-end architecture for complex enterprise systems.

You will design secure, scalable solutions using modern patterns (microservices, serverless, event-driven) and lead AI/GenAI initiatives within large cloud environments.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years in full stack software engineering or architecture roles.
• Experience delivering production-grade applications with OO design and patterns.
• Experience building frontend apps with Angular, React or Next.js and JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS.
• Experience building backend services with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, or serverless architectures in production.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and containerization using Docker.
• Experience deploying apps to AWS, Azure, or GCP; automated testing and CI/CD.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and architecture governance; leading design reviews.
• Experience integrating AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise apps; production or pilot.
• Bachelor's degree; ability to travel up to 20%; active cloud certification in AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end architecture for full stack apps across frontend, backend, APIs, data, cloud, and integration layers.
• Design scalable, secure solutions using microservices, serverless, and event-driven patterns.
• Provide technical leadership in AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI within enterprise ecosystems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and architecture governance to raise engineering maturity.
• Mentor junior to senior developers and contribute to project planning and risk management.
• Oversee performance, security, reliability, and maintainability across the lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD, release governance, testing strategies, and deployment practices.
