Job summary

Deloitte, via its SFL Scientific practice, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy robust AI infrastructure and services across diverse industries. You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and project managers to deliver scalable architectures and cloud-based solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in data engineering/AI deployment, strong cloud skills (AWS/Azure/GCP), and experience leading technical teams, with a focus on modern data architectures and GenAI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in data engineering, data science, software engineering, or MLOps specializing in AI deployment.
• 4+ years designing cloud solutions; hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• 4+ years programming with Linux, Python, SQL, PowerShell.
• 2+ years leading technical delivery teams.
• 2+ years DevOps with Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Airflow, Terraform, Jenkins.
• 2+ years with ETL/ELT pipelines (relational, NoSQL, Neo4j).
• 2+ years deployment/optimization with Kubernetes, Docker, NVIDIA TensorRT/Triton, RAPIDs, Kubeflow, MLflow, Kafka, etc.
• Live within commuting distance to Deloitte offices.
• Ability to travel ~10%.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, etc.
• AWS/Azure Certifications
• 2+ years GPU computing (CUDA, OpenCL) and HPC stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy architectures to support ML and automation applications.
• Leverage modern data architecture and data transformation using cloud or on-prem.
• Lead development of scalable data architecture for AI/GenAI use cases.
• Define schemas and data pipelines to support scalability and deployment.
• Participate in architecture and deployment discussions for scale, security, and availability.
• Adopt best practices in automation, HPC and AI/GenAI infrastructure.
• Lead proofs of concepts for new data/cloud solutions.
• Demonstrate leadership in modern data architecture and tech modernization.
• Mentor junior team members on technical best practices.
• Work with clients to deliver robust AI infrastructure and deployment services.
