Job summary

Deloitte Consulting in the United States seeks an experienced Manager and Technical Architect to deliver high-quality work on time, mentor juniors, and coordinate with onsite/offshore teams to meet business requirements.

You will define end-to-end architecture for full-stack apps, embracing microservices, serverless, and modern patterns, while driving AI/GenAI initiatives across enterprise ecosystems. Strong leadership and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, architecture, or technical leadership for enterprise applications.
• Proven experience designing production-grade applications with OOP, clean code, and established patterns.
• Experience building frontend apps with Angular, React, or Next.js and JS/TS/HTML/CSS in large-scale environments.
• Experience building backend services with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
• Designing REST APIs, microservices, and/or serverless architectures in production.
• Relational DBs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and DB design/optim.
• NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Git/Azure DevOps/CI/CD tooling for source control and pipelines.
• Docker and container-based deployments; cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience as developer/lead/architect.
• Experience integrating AI/Generative AI/Agentic AI into enterprise apps.
• Leadership in code reviews, design reviews, and governance processes.
• Experience estimating, planning, dependency tracking, and risk mitigation in multi-team efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IT/Data Science/Mathematics/Physics/Stats or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% on average.
• One active cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end architecture for full-stack applications across frontend, backend, APIs, data, cloud, and integration layers.
• Design scalable, secure, maintainable solutions using microservices, serverless, and event-driven patterns.
• Provide technical leadership in AI/GenAI/Agentic AI within enterprise ecosystems.
• Drive architecture decisions, standards, and alignment with enterprise tech strategy.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, stakeholders, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead design reviews, architecture reviews, and code reviews to raise quality and maturity.
• Mentor junior to senior developers to foster a quality-first engineering culture.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, capacity planning, and risk management across delivery teams.
• Oversee performance, security, reliability, and maintainability across the lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD, release governance, testing strategies, and cloud deployment practices.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks early and drive mitigation strategies.
• Partner with leadership on tech roadmap planning, modernization, and platform evolution.
