Job summary

Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice in the United States seeks a Lead Solution Architect to architect, build, and scale technology solutions across software, data, AI, networks, and hybrid cloud. You will guide implementation and deliver business outcomes at scale using AWS services and generative AI platforms.

Leading architecture for client engagements, translating requirements into scalable designs, and ensuring secure, production-ready deployments are core to this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application architecture, or solution architecture
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, projects, or workstreams for enterprise technology implementations
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS, including Bedrock, Lambda, SageMaker, API Gateway, or container-based services
• Experience architecting generative AI solutions using LLMs, prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and enterprise integration patterns
• Ability to travel 50% on average based on client work
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Leading solution architecture and engineering for client engagements involving generative AI, AWS, data platforms, and modernization
• Translating requirements into scalable architecture designs, reference patterns, roadmaps, and delivery plans
• Guiding engineering teams through Bedrock integration, Claude implementation, API strategy, security controls, and deployment
• Collaborating with stakeholders to manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and quality across delivery lifecycle
• Driving engineering-led innovation to modernize platforms and accelerate digital product outcomes
