Job summary

Symbiotic Services is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – AI II to design and implement advanced AI systems, including multi-component pipelines and RAG architectures. You will ensure reliability, collaborate with product and data teams, and lead POCs to explore innovative AI use cases.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in AI/ML, strong Python and API experience, and hands-on PyTorch or TensorFlow. A hybrid work model is available with scalable cloud tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python, web apps, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Hands-on with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of RAG architectures, AI agents, and agent-based systems.
• Experience deploying AI models in production with data pipelines.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings.
• Strong ML fundamentals, evaluation, and end-to-end MLOps.
• Eagerness to learn and adopt new tech.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced AI systems, including multi-component pipelines and RAG architectures.
• Ensure system quality, reliability, and compliance with strong testing frameworks.
• Identify risks and performance issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Data/Science to align AI with business goals.
• Lead POCs to evaluate emerging AI technologies and use cases.
• Review existing systems and recommend scalability and performance improvements.
• Promote continuous learning and adoption of new AI technologies.
