Job summary

Symbiotic Services is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – AI II in New York, NY to design and deliver AI-powered software for enterprise tax and accounting workflows. You will build and deploy multi-component AI pipelines, including RAG architectures and AI agents, and drive production readiness with strong ML / MLOps practices.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Data Science teams, lead POCs, and help shape scalable architectures while staying current with evolving AI technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years focused on AI/ML.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience building web applications, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Deep understanding of AI systems, including RAG architectures, AI agents, and agent-based systems.
• Experience integrating AI models into production environments using APIs and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and search-based AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, model evaluation, system design, and end-to-end MLOps.
