Job summary

Sproutup in Garland, TX is seeking an AI Server Configuration Lead, a senior operations role overseeing IT Hardware Technician and AI Server Configuration Technician teams. You will drive shop floor execution, manage workflows, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met while maintaining high quality and security standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ITAD or enterprise IT, with 2+ years in a leadership role, and hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge/NVIDIA GPU platforms, iDRAC, and data erasure

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years in a lead, supervisory, or senior technical role managing cross-functional or multi-team environments.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware and AI/GPU computing platforms.
• Strong KPI tracking, SLA management, and operational reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and direction to both ITHT and AI Server Configuration Technician teams, ensuring alignment with production goals and company standards.
• Oversee full lifecycle of shop orders across both ITHT and AI server processing functions, from intake to completion and documentation.
• Monitor and drive team performance against defined KPIs, including throughput, accuracy, cycle time, and quality metrics.
• Champion a customer-first culture and communicate proactively with internal stakeholders about order status and technical findings.
• Provide technical guidance on hardware evaluation, sorting, testing, data erasure, and de-manufacturing operations.
• Lead rebuilding, configuration, staging, and testing of enterprise-grade and AI server hardware (Dell PowerEdge, NVIDIA GPUs).
• Enforce safety protocols and SOPs; maintain clean, hazard-free work environments.
• Mentor and develop technicians; develop and maintain SOPs and best-practice documentation.
