Job summary

Bank of America seeks a highly technical Senior Engineer to lead AI security, platform modernization, and developer productivity across Digital Technology. You will drive secure AI adoption, create remediation roadmaps, accelerate modernization, and enable rapid releases against emerging threats and platform risks.

You will guide multiple engineering teams, establish standards, and deliver end-to-end solutions with a focus on secure software delivery and engineering efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, and platform engineering experience.
• Deep experience with large-scale distributed systems and enterprise platform design.
• Proven expertise in AI/LLM consumption and secure AI application development.
• Understanding of AI security risks, vulnerability management, and remediation.
• Experience leading vulnerability remediation programs and Mythos scans.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security initiatives and platform modernization across Digital Technology.
• Define the technology stack and evaluate new testing tools and practices.
• Enable CI/CD capabilities and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Guide teams on high-performance coding practices and reviews.
• Deliver end-to-end features and automation for multiple teams.
• Research and prototype tools for release management and security remediation.
• Partner with architects to establish enterprise-wide engineering standards.
• Develop automation to reduce remediation lead times and improve efficiency.
• Champion secure AI adoption and responsible AI practices.
• Drive modernization including JDK/framework upgrades and debt reduction.
