Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a highly technical Senior Engineer to lead AI security, platform modernization, and developer productivity initiatives across Digital Technology. You will drive secure AI adoption, modernization, and rapid release capabilities to address evolving threats and risks.

The role requires hands-on leadership of complex features, end-to-end delivery, and collaboration across Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Development teams to establish enterprise-wide engineering

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, and platform engineering experience.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, enterprise platform design.
• Proven expertise in AI/LLM consumption patterns and secure AI development.
• Deep understanding of AI security risks, vulnerability management and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design/engineering aligns with broader portfolio solutions.
• Define tech stack and evaluate new testing tools/practices.
• Enable CI/CD capabilities and collaborate on efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive secure software delivery and high-code performance practices (code reviews, pairing).
• Deliver end-to-end features at program level with automation.
• Research, prototyping, and evaluating new toolsets for release management/CI/CD.
• Lead remediation of AI-related vulnerabilities and establish security standards.
• Develop productivity solutions to accelerate secure software delivery.
• Drive platform modernization (JDK upgrades, framework upgrades, debt reduction).
• Collaborate with Architecture/ Security/ Infra/ Development teams on standards.
