Job summary

Bank of America in Charlotte seeks a highly technical Senior Engineer to lead AI security, platform modernization, and developer productivity across Digital Technology. You will shape the roadmap for AI vulnerability management and accelerate secure software delivery.

You will partner with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Development teams to establish enterprise-wide standards, build automation, and enable rapid releases to address emerging threats.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software and systems engineering experience.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and enterprise design.
• Proven AI security, vulnerability management, and remediation expertise.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding, OWASP, authentication, and API security.
• Experience leading vulnerability remediation programs (AI-related).
• Hands-on Java ecosystem modernization and CI/CD deployment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design and engineering approach aligns with the portfolio.
• Define technology tool stack and testing practices.
• Enable CI/CD capabilities across teams.
• Guide teams on high-code performance and reviews.
• Deliver end-to-end features for multiple teams.
• Research toolsets for release management and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with architects on technical requirements.
• Lead AI-related vulnerability remediation.
• Build productivity solutions for secure software delivery.
• Drive platform modernization including JDK and framework upgrades.
• Enable rapid-release capabilities for security remediation.
• Partner with Architecture, Security, Infra, and Development teams for standards.
• Develop automation to reduce remediation lead times.
• Champion secure AI adoption and best practices.
