Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on ML engineering experience with production models.
• Strong ML fundamentals: training, evaluation, data issues (class imbalance, label noise, drift).
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered apps and agentic AI systems.
• Experience delivering production systems at scale: data pipelines, MLOps, automation.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure, AWS, Google) or self-hosted infra.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and AI governance concepts.
• Excellent communication to translate complex concepts for executives.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered capabilities for threat hunting, anomaly detection, and automated incident response.
• Develop and operationalize custom ML models and LLM-based workflows for cybersecurity use cases.
• Match techniques to problems using deterministic automation, classical ML, or generative AI.
• Build LLM-based tooling that aids investigations and knowledge retrieval.
• Partner with GIS teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven security enhancements.
• Prototype and evaluate emerging AI technologies for cyber threat detection and response.
• Collaborate with offensive security teams for AI-enhanced red teaming.
• Contribute to scalable AI integration architectures across GIS security controls.
• Promote responsible AI with governance and bias mitigation.
