Job summary

Truist is seeking an AI Security Engineering Lead to secure AI adoption across the enterprise. You’ll lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk-based security controls for AI-enabled solutions in Azure and AWS environments.

The role requires deep security engineering expertise, hands-on implementation, and collaboration with engineering, product, and governance teams to accelerate secure AI deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Deep specialized knowledge in cybersecurity principles and concepts.
• Extensive experience in secure software development lifecycle practices.
• Expertise in threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Proven experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and design assessments for AI-enabled applications and platforms.
• Define secure design patterns and reference architectures for generative AI and agentic systems.
• Establish and evolve AI security standards, guardrails, and implementation patterns enterprise-wide.
• Evaluate new AI technologies to identify risks, security requirements, and control strategies.
• Design, implement, configure, and validate security controls for AI-enabled solutions across environments.
• Partner with engineering teams to implement secure tool calling, workflow orchestration, and data retrieval patterns.
• Support security integration within no-code, low-code, and pro-code AI development environments.
