Job summary

Truist is seeking an AI Security Engineering Lead to secure the organization’s adoption of AI, generative AI, and agentic technologies. You will lead security reviews, architecture assessments, threat modeling, and deployment readiness for AI-enabled applications and enterprise AI platforms.

As a senior security engineering leader, you will partner with engineering, product, and governance teams to implement secure patterns, guardrails, and controls across cloud environments (primarily Azure

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
Deep specialized knowledge in cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
Extensive experience in software development lifecycle security practices.
Expertise in threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.

Responsibilities

Lead AI security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and design assessments for AI-enabled applications and enterprise AI platforms.
Define secure design patterns and reference architectures for generative AI, agentic systems, RAG solutions, and AI workflows.
Establish AI security standards and guardrails across the enterprise.
Design, implement, validate security controls for AI-enabled solutions across development, testing, and production.
Develop guardrails to reduce prompt injection, data exposure, privilege escalation, and other AI-specific risks.
Partner with engineering teams to implement secure patterns for tool calling, workflow orchestration, and data retrieval.
