Job summary
Ripple is seeking a Senior Staff Security Engineer focused on AI Security to become the deepest technical expert at the intersection of artificial intelligence and security. You will define strategy, build guardrails for LLMs and agentic AI, and develop AI-powered security tooling in partnership with the broader organization.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of Security Engineering experience in multiple domains
- Solid understanding of AI/LLM security concepts (prompt injection, data poisoning, etc.)
- Experience securing agentic AI systems and runtimes
Responsibilities
- Define AI security strategy and roadmaps across the development lifecycle
- Design controls for LLM-integrated and agentic AI systems (sandboxing, permissions, monitoring)
- Own security governance for AI-enabled development and audit trails
- Lead security reviews for AI integrations (LLMs, copilots, third-party services)
- Build and scale Shadow AI detection and enforce acceptable-use policies
- Shape external AI security posture and contribute to industry standards and regulators
- Translate AI threat trends into concrete mitigations with Eng and Product teams
