Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to architect AI security systems across sensor-to-cloud platforms, delivering autonomous cyber defense. You’ll write code, design experiments, and guide research-to-production with senior technical leaders.

You will shape the Falcon platform by solving scale, safety, and operability challenges, mentoring engineers and researchers, and driving cross-functional collaboration with defense AI labs and customers.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred; BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE/EE/Applied Math or related field.
• 15+ years of industry experience in software engineering, ML, or security engineering.
• 8+ years in senior technical leadership (Principal/ Distinguished).

Responsibilities

• Architect AI security systems end to end: models, agents, telemetry, tooling, on-sensor inference, cloud-scale reasoning.
• Bring frontier AI to the endpoint using distillation, quantization, and specialized models.
• Build cloud-scale streaming detection and inference across trillions of events per day; optimize cost, latency and reliability.
• Lead investigations and develop autonomous defenders that write, validate detections, and drive remediation.
• Publish research, contribute to open-source, and collaborate with frontier AI labs and universities.
