CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to drive the future of cybersecurity AI within the Cybersecurity Superintelligence Lab. You will fuse frontier AI research with deep cybersecurity expertise, building scale-ready systems and guiding teams toward impactful outcomes.

You will shape research directions, prototype new approaches, and collaborate with threat researchers and incident responders to ensure real-world relevance and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Neuroscience, or a related quantitative field.
• Sustained original work at AI and cybersecurity intersection, with new capabilities or applications.
• Deep cybersecurity expertise from threat hunting, detection/response, vulnerability research or security analytics.

Responsibilities

• Define the future of cybersecurity AI and identify new capabilities for defenders.
• Invent and build end-to-end cybersecurity AI systems across models, tools, data and execution environments.
• Improve system behavior through investigations, simulations, and expert feedback with real-world grounding.
• Establish rigorous evaluations with benchmarks, cyber environments, and performance metrics.
• Lead technical direction across the Lab and mentor senior researchers and engineers.
• Turn research breakthroughs into scalable systems operating on high-volume security data.
• Represent CrowdStrike through research publications and open-source collaborations.
