Job summary

Accenture seeks a Senior Advanced AI Research Engineer to bridge AI systems research and production platform engineering in Mountain View, CA. You will translate research into engineered Python services or TS SDK modules and build pluggable backends with strong observability.

You will collaborate across platform teams, design scalable architectures, and mentor junior engineers while traveling 0–100% as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in CS/Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript building backend services.
Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems such as LLMs, inference, or memory architectures.
6+ years across research and production contexts a plus.
Master's or PhD in CS/Engineering strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Investigate active frontiers in agentic AI systems and design prototypes.
Translate research findings into production-grade Python services or TS SDK modules.
Prototype platform-level capabilities and validate with observability from the start.
Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate research into production systems.
Mentor engineers on experimental methodology and production-quality code.
