Job summary

Accenture seeks a Senior Advanced AI Research Engineer in Mountain View, CA to bridge AI research with production platforms. You’ll design agentic AI systems, build scalable Python services and TypeScript SDKs, and ensure observability from day one.

You will work across research and platform teams, mentoring others and translating findings into production-ready components suitable for client workloads. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years building production backend services in Python/Node.js/TypeScript.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML systems such as LLMs, agent frameworks, inference serving, or memory architectures.

Responsibilities

• Investigate agentic AI frontiers including memory persistence, routing and autonomy control planes.
• Translate research into production-grade Python services and TypeScript SDK modules.
• Instrument prototypes with observability (tracing, cost accounting, latency metrics) for reproducibility.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate validated research into production systems.
