Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Advanced AI Research Engineer to bridge AI systems research and production platform engineering. You will turn research insights into Python services, TypeScript SDKs, and platform components used by client workloads.

You will explore agent memory, inference routing, and long-horizon task reliability while maintaining observable, scalable implementations. Onsite in Mountain View, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field; required minimum 12 years experience if no degree.
• 5+ years of Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript building production backends or AI/ML systems.
• 5+ years hands-on AI/ML experience (LLMs, agent frameworks, retrieval/memory architectures).
• 6+ years across research and production contexts with demonstrated impact.

Responsibilities

• Investigate agentic AI frontiers and design evaluation methodologies for production relevance.
• Translate research into production-grade Python/Node.js services and platform components.
• Prototype platform capabilities (routing, memory management, autonomy) and ensure observability and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate research into production systems and CI pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and researchers in experimental methodology and production-quality coding.
