Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Advanced AI Research Engineer to bridge AI research and production platform engineering in Mountain View, CA. You will prototype, benchmark, and translate research into scalable Python/Node.js services with observability and production-grade quality.

You will work on agent memory, routing, and long-horizon autonomy, contributing to both research publications and platform components, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field; 12 years' experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of Python or Node.js/TypeScript experience building production backend services.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems including LLMs, agent frameworks, inference serving, or memory architectures.

Responsibilities

• Investigate active frontier in agentic AI systems and design evaluation methodologies.
• Translate research findings into production-grade Python/Node.js services and SDK modules.
• Prototype and validate platform-level capabilities and ensure observability and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with platform engineers and stakeholders to integrate research into production systems.
