Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Advanced AI Research Engineer to bridge AI systems research and production platform engineering in Mountain View, CA. You will create Python services and TypeScript SDK modules, and contribute to platform-integrated components used by real workloads.

You will lead research-to-production translation, ensuring observability, scalable memory management, and robust routing policies, while collaborating with platform engineers and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent with substantial experience.
• 5+ years of Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript in production backend services.
• 5+ years in AI/ML systems including LLMs, agent frameworks, or memory architectures.
• 6+ years across research and production contexts is a plus.
• Strong async Python, Kubernetes, vector/relational DBs, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Investigate active innovation frontiers in agentic AI systems, incl. memory, retrieval and routing architectures.
• Translate research findings into production-grade implementations: Python services, TypeScript SDKs, or platform components.
• Prototype and validate platform capabilities: inference routing policies, memory management, and agent control mechanisms.
• Instrument prototypes with observability from the start: tracing, cost accounting, latency metrics.
