Job summary

Unity is seeking a Staff Quality Engineering Lead to own the quality bar for the Gaming AI organization. You will design AI-assisted review, automated tests, and change-aware selection to ship high-quality products.

You will tackle evaluation of non-deterministic outputs, build defect intelligence, and tie quality to creator outcomes, driving a comprehensive quality strategy across teams and systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software quality engineering or quality leadership.
• Proven track record building quality systems used by multiple teams.
• Hands-on use of AI-enabled tooling in the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define quality strategy for Gaming AI across frontend, backend, and dependent systems.
• Build AI-native quality systems including AI-assisted code review and automated remediation.
• Design evaluation methods for non-deterministic outputs and multi-run judgement.
• Drive quality metrics and defect analytics to influence product outcomes.
• Partner with engineers, artists, and product managers to raise the quality bar.
